Braunwyn Windham-Burke launches jewelry line to help LGBTQ+ youth

Braunwyn Windham-Burke’s husband Sean may be famous for his statement necklaces, but now the reality star is creating his own meaningful pieces.

The ‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ star, 43, has teamed up with Blue Blood Metal to create a line of necklaces – and two bracelets – to benefit the PFLAG Newport Beach Scholarship Fund for LGBTQ+ students.

Priced at $65 to $265 and now available online, pieces from the “Amplified Voices” collection are crafted from vintage designer buttons (some bearing Chanel’s signature double C logo), most incorporating stripes and rainbow charms.

“I’ve been privileged to be able to come out at 42 and have a supportive family. So many young people don’t,” the mother of seven told Page Six Style on Monday.

“A lot of people literally get kicked out of their homes just for being themselves,” Windham-Burke continued. “It just shows how much work we still need to do, so hopefully our #AmplifiedVoices line and our IGTV series can continue to smash confetti boxes, tell untold stories, and raise money to help gay kids go to school.”

The OC “Housewife” too taken to instagram Monday to share her excitement for the collection, after attending PFLAG’s Parent Day over the weekend.

“Representation and allied public assistance shows young people and queer people everywhere that there is, in fact, a light at the end of the tunnel, and that someone out there will support them, in a one way or another. 🌈💕,” she wrote alongside a photo of her and her son, Jacob.

“Jacob is truly one of the coolest kids I know and we loved sharing our story❤️,” Windham-Burke added. “…This is our soft open, and we’ll be rolling out all kinds of content and information during #pridemonth in June. Thank you @bravotv @evolutionusa for giving Jacob’s stories, mine, and the untold stories a platform for us to do good! It makes all the drama worth it 😉.

Windham-Burke came out as gay in an interview with GLAAD in December 2020.

“I am a member of the LGBTQ+ community,” she said at the time. “It took me 42 years to say this, but I’m so proud of where I am right now. I’m so happy where I am. To be able to be comfortable in my skin after so long is so nice.

She and her husband remain married, and he has continually expressed his support for his wife as she dated and then separated from his first girlfriend, Kris.
