Celebrities try on the CT sisters’ jewelry line at Oscars pre-party

Jewelery designers and sisters of Glastonbury, Raeann Baribault-Schwartz and Christina Baribault-Ortiz, presented their line of jewellery, The power of Bat a two-day Oscars pre-show event on March 25-26.

The Connecticut Sisters were invited to showcase their brand at an exclusive celebrity, influencer and VIP gift shop held at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in California.

“My favorite part of the experience was being able to pitch our brand to all the celebrities, help them choose their keyword, and have some real heart-pounding amazing conversations,” Baribault-Ortiz said. “Everyone left wearing their power word bracelets.”

Celebrities like Viola Davis (actress), Jordan Sparks (singer), Anthony Anderson (actor), Terrence Terrel (actor) and Jason Ritter (actor), attended the event and got a chance to find out what their “power word” was. “We were impressed with the positive reaction and how everyone embraced what was going on in their lives right now to help choose their current power word,” Baribault-Schwartz said.

There were numerous interactions in which the sisters got goosebumps, teary-eyed and “felt our hearts on fire” while listening to and helping celebrities feel empowered by their power word qu they will wear every day.

“B Limitless”, “B Fearless” and “B Badass” were the most popular power words chosen. “Here’s a celebrity who lost his mother a few months before he found out he was going to the Oscars and chose to wear a ‘B strong’ to help him get through the evening and remember his mother,” Baribault said. -Schwartz.

Power to B designs were born when both sisters were struggling to conceive. They have faced miscarriages, ectopic pregnancies and five cycles of IVF.

“During this trip, what helped us the most was being positive and leaving post-its everywhere with power. [phrases] like ‘be strong’ or ‘be mighty’,” Baribault-Schwartz said in a previous interview.

This inspired the sisters to create bracelets with powerful phrases meant to remind women that they are not alone on difficult journeys. Jewelry in the collections features messages such as “B Strong”, “B Fierce”, “B Badass”, “B Limitless”, “B Fearless” and “B You”.

GBK brand bar now presents “The Power to B” collection in its gift shop at the La Peer Hotel in West Hollywood, and it is also available on Baribault Jewelers at Glastonbury.

“This is an incredible opportunity to expose our brand to more people in Hollywood, where we know it will continue to be well received,” Baribault-Schwartz said.
